Practical goods for real family life

We started La Nodriza after spending a Sunday afternoon assembling three different storage units, none of which actually fit our airing cupboard, kitchen alcove or garden shed. Between two small children, a mortgage and a shrinking spare room, we couldn't find home essentials that were built properly, sized honestly and priced for a normal family income — only budget tat that broke within a season, or designer pieces at eye-watering markups.

So we set out to do it properly ourselves. We work directly with the same factories that supply the bigger retailers, cutting out the middlemen who inflate prices on basic kitchen, storage, fitness and childcare goods. Every product is tested by our own team — assembled in a real kitchen, sat on by real toddlers, left out in real British weather — before it ever reaches the website. If it wouldn't survive our house, it doesn't go on sale in yours.

We're still a small team based in the UK, and we still read every return and every email ourselves. If something doesn't earn its place in your home, we want to know about it.
